Ibérica - the renowned Spanish restaurant group in the UK has launched a new menu exclusive to their beautiful outdoors terrace in Cabot Square. Designed by three Michelin-starred Executive Chef Nacho Manzana, it features a series of imaginative pinchos along with their usual tapas.
Notable mentions include their mini Butifarra burger - a thick slice of fatty Catalan sausage meat encased between soft toasted brioche, with sweet and tangy pickled fennel and a sharp mustard mayonnaise.
Spanish baguette spread with a thin layer of blue cheese, topped with sweet sun-blushed tomatoes, and a juicy cherry tomato that's sandwiched between two slices of salty Parmigiano Reggiano.
Sweet, smoky chopped roasted peppers on a crisp olive oil biscuit, with cheese and anchovy -- and anchovy may get a bad rep, but it's good-quality anchovy where it's not just salty but rather an incredible depth of flavor.
Fried baby squid with a delicate and crisp coating, sitting on top of fresh garlic mayonnaise and a soft and fragrant herb bread.
Served on top of black slate and wooden boards, these savory bites are refined and mind-blowingly delicious. These, eaten out on their beautiful terrace in the leafy corner of Cabot Square, with striped parasols, gushing fountains and green trees, in the sun, with thick-accented Spanish waiters and Latin music almost make you feel like you're in Spain despite being in the center of concrete, bleak Canary Wharf.
